Last week I had the pleasure of trying out Provo Foodbar's Tasting menu. Let's just say - if you're looking for me, it'll probably be one of the few places you should look!

Just across the street from the AGO on Dundas St. W Provo has a beautiful window restaurant front that runs extremely deep. As you walk through the restaurant, you pass by the first section of beautiful wooden seatings, then this rustic floor to ceiling bar and up a couple stairs is a whole other section of seats! This back area has skylights that I can only imagine look beautiful during the day. They said that when the weather eventually gets warmer, it will be open during the day - I mean, what a beautiful setting for a brunch spot?!

They have just released their Brunch menu too, which consists of the most delectable pastries and granola (which I intend to try to recreate at home!).

And I mean, how GOOD does this fried chicken waffle look ?! I didn't actually get to try it, but you can sure bet I'll definitely order it on my next visit!

So this is the tasting menu that we got to try the other night! If I had to pick my favorites, I really really enjoyed the Braised Beef Cheek and the Spicy Provo Craft Caesar.

I am a huge sucker for almost all types of meats and this beef was so soft and juicy, I was sad that it was gone in just a few bites.

Caesars are my go-to drink asides from wine. Especially in the summer ... if summer will ever appear! This one in particular had duck fat washed bourbon ... don't know about you, but it tasted just as delicious as it sounds!

Spicy Provo Craft Caesar (w/ duck fat infused bourbon)

Braised Beef Cheek

Pork Tenderloin

Provo Burger

Branzino

Honey Hazel

Flourless Chocolate Tarte

I really urge you to try this cute spot out - and don't forget to tell me what you think below!
