HOLIDAY // X STELLA ARTOIS // MAKING THIS YEAR SPECIAL //

It’s that time of year again - time to embrace the holiday spirit!!

I’m excited to celebrate with Stella Artois this year :) Nothing makes savouring this joyous

season even more enjoyable than having a Stella Artois while doing so.

Last year was probably one of my favourite holiday seasons so far. It was the first one Trav and

I spent together in our condo, and the one where we also got engaged too!

So the pressure is on to outdo (… or even just to live up to last years moments)! So how do I

plan to do that?!

3 FOOL-PROOF WAYS:

1. GET YOUR PRESENTS EARLY + WRAP THEM ASAP

I’ll be the first one to admit that I’m not the type of person that is done their Christmas

shopping by the end of November … I am usually the one that is ordering things last minute

and paying extra for RUSH shipping a few days before I need to give them to their respective

owners :p.

However, last year was the first time that I tried getting presents in November and I was

surprisingly done by early December!! Believe me, I was SHOCKED I pulled it off.

The only problem that came with getting all the presents so early is that I quickly realized that I

had NOWHERE to put them … we live in a 750 sqft condo and with my job, I have packages

already stuffed in every nook and cranny. I was especially worried about how I was going to

hide Trav’s presents from him!

What I started to do was wrap them as soon as I could and started filling up the room under

the Christmas tree. It actually helped with making the apartment look more festive earlier too :).

The downfall of buying / wrapping your presents early is that you end up with A LOT to wrap at

once, and not a lot of time to do it (there were times when Travis almost came home to find me

surrounded by his stocking stuffers/presents!).

This year I’m planning on making this whole being prepared early/wrapping everything early a

zen and luxurious experience for myself. I’ve made sure I will have some Stella Artois in hand

while blasting Christmas tunes, draped in cosy blankets/robes while “artfully” (well, I’ll attempt

to) wrapping my gifts. Plus, I’m loving the Holiday Size Stella Artois sharing bottles as gifts as

well! I mean, how cute and festive are they?!

2. GET YOURSELF A KILLER BAR CART + MAKE SURE IT’S PROPERLY STOCKED

I recently got a gold bar cart. YES! It’s pretty, gold , and has shiny mirrored bottoms. It’s what

I’ve dreamed about finding for a long time, and I knew it was meant to be when I walked into

the store and it was right at the entrance waiting for me.

Anyways, the point of having a killer bar cart is to have easy access to your favourite drinks!

Because I find that during holiday season, you REALLY don’t know who is going to drop by…

and when!

And when you don’t know who’s going to stop by, how do you make sure you have a bar cart

that everyone can love? Well after a few years of non-creepy people watching, it’s safe to say

that most people love a Stella Artois, even if they don’t love beer. There’s something about the

deliciousness of a cold Stella Artois that can make a non-beer drinker crave it’s refreshing

taste. My sister doesn’t drink much beer, but will always say yes to a Stella Artois when she’s

over! Plus, if you’re getting a sharing bottle, everyone can join in on the fun!

3. MAKE SURE EVERY HOLIDAY FRIDAY NIGHT IS DATE NIGHT!

I already know this one is going to be hard for us this year. We’re in the middle of house

hunting, planning a wedding, and celebrating a few milestones throughout this holiday season!

But something I’ve learnt over the years is that you have to make time for some quality time

with your significant other.

It’s so easy to forget that you haven’t actually spent more than 5 minutes with each other when

you live together. Like while I’m writing this we are sitting beside each other, but I’m working on

the computer and he’s watching hockey! So even though we’re less than 3 feet apart, we’re in

totally different worlds. That’s why scheduling out a date night once a week in one of the

busiest (AND HAPPIEST) times of the year really helps make a holiday season memorable!

One of our favourite date night meals is having homemade pasta (… Trav makes it lol) and a

medium rare steak with some cold bottles of Stella Artois. Trav and I have spent so many great

date nights at dreamy Stella Artois events so we like to recreate those moments at home too.

I hope you all find a way to savour the holidays this season whether you try one of these 3 tips

above, or in your own special way! I’d love to hear how Stella Artois made your holidays

special!

xx
